# x402 Utilities Hub

> Pay-per-call utility API for AI agents and developers. Micro-billed in USDC on Base via the x402 v2 protocol.

## Payment Protocol (x402 v2)
All API calls are pay-per-request. AI agents can autonomously execute calls using x402:
1. Make a GET request to any /v1/* endpoint.
2. Unpaid requests receive HTTP 402 Payment Required with the PAYMENT-REQUIRED header.
3. Settle payment in USDC on Base (EIP-3009 transfer authorization).
4. Retry the request including the payment proof in the X-PAYMENT header to receive the data (HTTP 200).

## Endpoints ($0.005 USD tier)
- GET /v1/weather: Current weather for a coordinate (Open-Meteo): temperature, humidity, wind, precipitation.
- GET /v1/fx: Latest foreign-exchange rates for a base currency (open.er-api.com, no key).
- GET /v1/ip: IP geolocation and ASN lookup.
- GET /v1/time: Current time in any IANA timezone, with UTC offset and unix timestamp.
- GET /v1/units: Convert units of temperature, length, mass or data size.
- GET /v1/uuid: Generate 1-100 random UUIDv4 identifiers.

## Endpoints ($0.01 USD tier)
- GET /v1/crypto: Spot prices for crypto assets by CoinGecko id.
- GET /v1/dns: DNS resolution over DNS-over-HTTPS.
- GET /v1/whois: Domain registration data via RDAP.
- GET /v1/extract: Fetch a web page and return its title, description, word count and readable text.
